In a browser
Open supermux in any browser. Your computer serves the app; there's nothing to install.
The computer that runs your agents also serves the supermux web app. Open its address in a browser, pair once, and you have the same workspace as the desktop and phone apps.
Find the address
- Desktop app: Settings ▸ Hosting ▸ Address shows the Local address for your home network and the Remote one that works from anywhere.
- Server install:
http://localhost:8787on the server itself, or the link thatsupermux pairprints. - Docker:
http://localhost:8787.
Pair the browser
Open a pairing link and you're in. Get one from Settings ▸ Devices ▸ Add device on a device you've already paired, or run supermux pair laptop on a server. A brand-new install pairs the first browser that opens it automatically. See Pair your devices.
Install it as an app
The web app can be installed like a regular app, with its own icon and window, using your browser's install or Add to Home Screen option.
Notifications
The first time, a strip offers Enable notifications for agent replies. Choose Enable, then allow notifications when the browser asks.
What's different in a browser
- No camera button: attach photos from your files instead.
- Views can't move into separate windows.
- The web app updates together with supermux on your computer, so there's nothing to update in the browser.
- It needs a connection to your computer; there's no offline mode.
